As a Designer at a small company I have had the opportunity to launch swimwear and lingerie collections as well as sleepwear & loungewear.
I started my career in swimwear and prior to the pandemic continued creating swimwear lines at Morgan Lane. The pandemic shifted our focus towards creating face masks with left over silk fabric. The masks are adjustable and sized for adults & kids.
Morgan Lane has also long been known for her playful and sexy lingerie. Becoming a Designer at this company allowed me to create lingerie collections for the first time, giving me acquired knowledge and skill in the intimates category.
Each season I am responsible for trend research and mood development, pitching collection ideas, choosing pantones, sourcing new fabrics, creating and passing off tech packs and conducting development fittings throughout the season.
